The Linux presentation at the TAPCUG general meeting on September 19, 2009 will be on the general progress to date of the Linux operating system. We will look back at where the Linux operating system started, the progress to date and where it will be in the future. The problems of adoption and how this can be overcome will be discussed. We will briefly look at current Linux applications and hardware. As always, there will be plenty of time for questions and I plan to have some live Linux CD's available with an option to install on your computer.
